Expressing gratitude to God, Huckabee compared his appointment to Israel’s survival, both of which he credited to divine intervention. He recalled his first visit to Israel 52 years ago and highlighted his decades-long advocacy for the Jewish state.
Addressing the October 7 Hamas massacre and ongoing hostage crisis, he called the role urgent. Protesters disrupted the hearing twice but were removed as Huckabee smiled. He concluded by requesting Senate approval for his appointment.
