BROOKLYN – The NYPD is actively searching for two vandals who were caught on camera carving a swastika and the word “Nazis” into the side of a Tesla Cybertruck parked in Brooklyn. This disturbing incident, which unfolded at approximately 1 a.m. Thursday on Monroe Street in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood, is being investigated as a hate crime. The act of vandalism, which is part of a recent pattern of similar attacks targeting Tesla owners and dealerships, was captured by the vehicle’s camera. The footage shows one suspect crouching down to carve the hateful symbols while the other stood by as a lookout.

After the vandalism was carried out, the two suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction, leaving behind a damaged vehicle. Police are now examining the footage in hopes of identifying the individuals involved. The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force has taken over the investigation, with authorities stressing that this attack will not be tolerated.

This act of violence comes amid a spate of similar incidents, including a recent attack in Brooklyn’s Prospect Heights, where a man was seen carving a swastika into another Tesla Cybertruck. The owner of that vehicle, Ben Hamo, expressed his shock and anger, describing the feeling of being personally targeted.

Well maybe if the NYPD hate crimes unit would have taken more serious action and labeled it a hate crime in what happened a couple of weeks ago when someone else had their Tesla swastikad maybe this incident wouldn’t have taken place.
