The S&P 500 soared 9.5% Wednesday.
The index is still below where it was when Trump announced his sweeping set of tariffs last week. The Dow Jones Industrial Average flew nearly 3,000 points higher, and the Nasdaq composite jumped 12.2%. Trump, though, did raise tariffs further on China. Treasury yields gave back some of their big market-rattling gains following Trump’s pause on most tariffs.
The Very Stable Genius at work, yet again.
It’s all God
Hes but mere flesh and blood!!!
Trump played the other countries like a fiddle!
soon you all will give him credit for, after darkness of night, for the sun coming up in the morning… Especially as it comes from the east (i.e. China and then Russia) from where the sun then leaves and it becomes night…
Where are all the snowflakes who were ready to jump off the roof the other day? That includes you Educated Archy
Based on reading the other comments I know I’ll get a lot of down votes for saying the truth. Here goes. Trump overreached and almost tanked the economy. He wisely backed down and markets celebrated. I’m glad he backed down because I like everything else he’s done as president. I’m a huge Trump supporter. But in many places including here, if you support Trump 99% of the time you’re labeled a leftist RINO.
We unfortunately knew that wouldn’t follow through on his promise of tariffs. We need to reshore manafacturing
Doing cartwheels and backflips. I made so much money today. Yippee! Thank you President Trump.
