At the hospital, 53-year-old Bennett underwent a catheterization.

According to statements from those close to him, he is feeling well and his condition is considered stable. It was also reported that he will remain at the medical center for further observation and treatment.

Last night, Bennett participated in a Mimouna celebration at the home of attorney Hila Revach in Be’er Ganim.

This morning, after not feeling well, he was taken to the hospital.

His political partner Yair Lapid tweeted about Bennett:
“Naftali, brother, feel better, the people of Israel need you.”

Earlier this month, Bennett announced that he intends to run in the next elections – and declared that he has registered a new political party with which he will run.
The new party was registered under the temporary name “Bennett 2026.”

At the time, Bennett stated:
“If and when it is decided to officially run in the elections, an announcement will be made.”
