Tens of thousands of Haredi Jews have flocked to Mount Meron to celebrate Lag B’Omer at the tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai.
The festivities began with the traditional lighting of the first bonfire by Rabbi Nachum Dov Brayer of the Boyan dynasty. As flames rose, celebrants broke into spirited dancing to the song “In Honor of the Holy Tanna,” honoring the 2nd-century sage believed to have died on this day.
Authorities, still mindful of the 2021 tragedy that claimed 45 lives, have capped attendance at 63,000 to ensure crowd safety at the revered site.

WOW! This brought me incredible joy to see. Thank you VIN for sharing.
