WASHINGTON (VINnews)-FBI Director Kash Patel suggested this week that key evidence related to the Trump-Russia investigation was deliberately hidden from the public and is now coming to light.

In a recent interview, Patel, who has been working closely with congressional investigators, said, “We have now found material and information and people who wanted to hide it from the world since we got in these seats.” He emphasized that efforts are underway to inform the public while ensuring accountability for what he characterized as a politically motivated investigation.
Patel’s comments are the latest in a series of statements from Trump officials who allege misconduct in the origins and handling of the investigation into alleged ties between President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russian operatives.
“We are trying to do it in a fashion where not only are we informing the American public of what happened,” Patel added, “but we can have accountability for it — and that takes a little bit more time.”
The remarks have fueled calls from Republican lawmakers and Trump allies for further scrutiny into the actions of federal agencies during and after the 2016 election. They argue the probe into Trump’s campaign was politically tainted and lacked sufficient oversight.

After the non-release of the Epstein files, I hope this one is actually true.
