JERUSALEM – The Washington Post reported Monday that officials from President Donald Trump’s administration have conveyed a firm message to Israel: if the ongoing conflict in Gaza does not end soon, the United States may withdraw its critical support.

According to a source familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity, this ultimatum comes amid recent escalations as Israel mobilizes tens of thousands of reservists and intensifies its airstrikes in Gaza.

At a Sunday cabinet meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the resumption of limited humanitarian aid deliveries as “only a technicality.” Despite holding a commanding majority in the Knesset, Netanyahu reportedly lacks the political will to halt the military campaign.

Netanyahu also acknowledged the diplomatic risks associated with a humanitarian crisis, identifying the prospect of mass starvation in Gaza as a potential “red line” that could jeopardize vital U.S. support. He referenced conversations with “closest friends in the world,” including longstanding American allies who pledged to provide weapons and defend Israel at the United Nations Security Council but cautioned that images of widespread hunger would be politically untenable.

In a social media video statement, Netanyahu emphasized that Israel “cannot reach a point of starvation, for practical and diplomatic reasons,” suggesting that humanitarian concerns could limit the extent of military operations.

This development underscores the complex challenge faced by Israeli leadership in balancing aggressive military objectives with maintaining essential international backing, as the Trump administration signals it may abandon Israel if the conflict continues unabated.

The West is finished. Trump was its last hope. But the Arabs bought him off. Within a decade NYC will have an islamist mayor like London. Those who live in the West cannot see nor understand its demise yet. Israel needs to part ways with it.

You all need to relax. This is nothing new and maybe not so bad. Trump believes nuke the place but end the war quickly. He gave them the green light to fight hard. Something Biden never let. But it has to end quick. Not such a bad idea. So far it’s been much better. Even letting Bibi starve them for two m months is valuable . Now when he lets the aid in Hamas can’t get it as easily because the idf is all over

This war is lasting so long because Biden held Israel back then left wing force terrible ceasefires, delaying war. Qatar’s tunnels have to be destroyed to end war. If US pushes just burn everything in Gaza. Leave no building standing. No more civilian warnings,no evacuation. Total destruction. If US wants a rushed war that will be result. No gazan within 10 miles of border

*White House spokeswoman Carolyn Levitt responds to the Washington Post article:*

“As is known, this is a media outlet hostile to the new administration in the United States. This media outlet has set itself the goal of sabotaging the administration’s foreign relations with its allies. It started with the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and is now trying to sabotage our wonderful relations with our important ally in the Middle East, Israel. The President was very angry to hear this false news and makes it clear that he has *no limited time for Israel to fight the terrorist organization Hamas*. We will support and always stand by our allies, especially Israel.”

The fake news has a new tactic: Create fear and uncertainty about Trump’s loyalty to Israel and the Jewish people. It’s a very smart strategy to undermine his massive Jewish support. I DON’T BUY IT!

“HOSTAGE NEGOTIATIONS – NO DEAL – Israeli source: Negotiations in Qatar have reached a point of exhaustion, Hamas will not accept guarantees except for an end to the war (and will not accept a “disarm and exile” option).”

Hamas’s sugar daddy made a good deal. Bribe Trump with a gold colored 747 that nobody wanted and the benefits for his client organizations will just flow in. Cannot wait to see what Iran will offer Trump in exchange for selling out EY

Nice job, Netanyahu. You screwed up this war so thoroughly that even Trump is sick of it. You could have been done in a month and a half but instead you kept half-baking it. Pathetic.
