NEW YORK (VINnews) — The victims of the Washington, D.C. terror attack were identified as Israeli embassy staff members Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, who were on their way back from a conference at the Jewish Museum. The two had planned to get engaged next week in Jerusalem. Yaron, a Christian, had immigrated from Germany to Israel at age 16 and served in the IDF, later becoming a diplomat.

The embassy released a statement mourning their deaths:
“Yaron and Sarah were our friends and colleagues. They were in the prime of their lives. Tonight, a terrorist shot and killed them as they left an event at the Capitol Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. The entire embassy staff is heartbroken and devastated by the murder. There are no words to express the depth of our sorrow and horror at this tragic loss. Our hearts are with their families, and the embassy will support them during this terrible time.”
The attack took place overnight (Wednesday into Thursday), when eyewitnesses reported that the terrorist, wearing a keffiyeh, shouted “Free Palestine” before opening fire at close range on the embassy staff. According to reports, two other embassy workers were injured in the shooting and were taken to the hospital for medical treatment. The attack occurred at 9:30 p.m. local time, near the site of the conference and just a few blocks from the Washington, D.C. police headquarters.
Ron Shoval, dean at the Argaman Institute, also paid tribute:
“Beloved Yaron Lishinsky was my student at the Argaman Institute and a graduate of the Exodus program. He was a Christian, a great lover of Israel who made aliyah, served in the army, and chose to dedicate his life to the State of Israel and Zionism. A remarkable life story of a man with moral clarity, a righteous among the nations in our time, who chose to tie his life to the fate of the Jewish people. May his memory be a blessing.”

This is a result of the culture of Jew hatred pervasive now in western culture. We can thank our good friends in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE for financing the Madrasas all
Over the world and the blatant unbridled antisemitism running rampant, and unchecked in our universities, thereby infecting tens of thousands of dumb, ignorant college students, the decision makers, and elected officials of tomorrow. At least the Iranians make no secret of their intentions. But these aforementioned scoundrels are smiling barracudas, pretending to be our friends, Weilsharpening their knives and stabbing us in the back. Their venomous agenda, in the making for many years, is now bearing fruit. for all our muscle flexing , and pretense of being in control of our own destiny, I think it’s very clear. While we need to do our השתדלות, it is very clear, אין לנו להשען אלא על אבינו שבשמים
This is what they mean when they chant “Globalize the Intifida.”
Just thinking of the irony that this lowlife idiot terrorist will earn 2 life sentences at least for demanding free free Palestine He probably was a useless, unemployed and unemployable addict that got enlisted into the (ig)noble Palestinian cause.
The security was not the greatest at that event; whereas there may have been security inside, there was none outside to protect the diplomats.
Well, this begs the question if your ordinary frei American Jew is actually Jewish..
No and the murderer was certainly no Pinchas.
Lischinsky was a Christian , loved Israel and served in IDF.
They were both Righteous among the Nations. (Sara’s mother is Nancy Milgrim from KS, her maternal grandmother is Susan Repplinger from IA, and her great grandmother was Helen Lynn from IL).
was the terrorist apprehended?
Just wait for the GoFundMe for his defence, a la lunatic murderer Luigi
They were both non Jews as far as Halacha goes which is how us Orthodox Jews follow. He was a Messianic Christian & she was planning to convert to his religion. Many messianic Christians are staunch zionists.
It’s a result of policy and politicians who did absolutely nothing to stop antisemitic activities in USA.
Perhaps
I join the rest of American and world Jewry in mourning the senseless
antisemitic murder of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim in Washington DC.
The loss of Sarah in particular hits directly home for me – she was from
Overland Park, Kansas. I was raised in KANSAS CITY MISSOURI. RABBI DR. BERNHARD ROSENBERG
ANTISEMITISM will only stop when Jews fight back in massive groups. We have no choice but to get physical, learn self defense, get a carry permit and attack those in a massive group who attack Jews. All this talk on the media because of what occurred with the murder of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim in Washington DC. is nothing new. Promises by politicians and law enforcement are heard and antisemitism continues throughout the ages. Can you imagine what riots would be occur if this happened to a black couple. WHY WAS LAW ENFORCEMENT NOT OUTSIDE THE MUSEUM? RABBI DR. BERNHARD ROSENBERG, EDISON NJ
I don’t know, it sounds a little like you might be proclaiming to understand Hashem’s ways.
When you point an accusing finger, remember there are three fingers pointing back at you!
Glad to hear you coming out in support of a brutal murderer. Definitely the most appropriate response someone could have.
