JERUSALEM – In a notable change in U.S. policy, the American ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, stated that the United States no longer fully endorses the establishment of a Palestinian state in the West Bank. During an interview with Bloomberg News, in Jerusalem, Huckabee — appointed by President Donald Trump — indicated that without significant cultural changes, the prospect of such a state is unlikely to materialize anytime soon.

Huckabee suggested that if a Palestinian state were to be formed, it might be located outside of the traditional West Bank and Gaza areas. This perspective signals a departure from the longstanding U.S. position favoring a two-state solution based on the 1967 borders.
This shift aligns with views held by some Israeli leaders who believe that the current political and social realities make the traditional two-state framework unworkable. The ambassador’s comments are expected to spark debate among international partners and U.S. policymakers who continue to advocate for a two-state resolution as the best path to peace in the region.
“Does it have to be in Judea and Samaria?”

I think a Palestinian state should be established in France. Not much would change.
Thank you Ambassador Huckabee, President Trump!
It’s about time the USA and the world (including Israel) should realize that the whole idea of so called Palestinian state has no basis in reality, there never was such a nation , people, or state, it’s the Jewish home land and the non Jews are illegal squatters.
BTW any one who thinks that creating one will bring peace, needs to be put in an mantel institution, Arabs will NEVER stop killing Jews, look how they kill each other.
Huh. Why, didn’t all of the “smart people” here spend weeks caterwauling how Trump is under Qatar’s influence and will throw Israel under the bus? Why, yes, they did. Didn’t all of the “real Yidden” spend years whining about how Trump is the next Hitler? Why, yes, they did.
So now we have to ask why anyone should pay those types the slightest attention in the future, when voodoo priests looking at goat entrails probably have a better track record.
