Report: Mossad Planted Drone Base Near Tehran and Weapons In Local Vehicles To Assist Attack

JERUSALEM (VINnews) —An Israeli security source revealed details of the Mossad’s preparations for Operation Rising Lion, the overnight offensive in Iran that marked an extraordinary joint effort by the IDF, Mossad and Israel’s defense industries.

The IDF’s operation included meticulously planned covert operations by the Israeli Mossad, which were developed over years of preparatory efforts and involved numerous systems set in place inside Iran.

These systems were activated in tandem with the IAF attacks in Iran and assisted in crippling the Iranian defenses against the attacks.

1. Precise Guided Weapons Deployed Near Iranian Missile Systems
Mossad commando fighters deployed operational systems of precision-guided weaponry in open areas near Iranian surface-to-air missile (SAM) sites.
At the start of the Israeli offensive, and in parallel with IAF airstrikes across Iran, these systems were activated, launching precision missiles simultaneously and with high accuracy at designated targets.

2. Disabling Iranian Air Defense Systems
In another special operation to neutralize Iran’s air defense capabilities — which pose a threat to Israeli fighter jets — the Mossad secretly embedded strike systems and advanced technologies inside vehicles.
When the surprise offensive began, these weapons were launched from the vehicles, completely destroying Iranian defense systems.

3. Explosive Drone Base Inside Iran
The Mossad established a base of explosive drones smuggled deep into the heart of Iran well before the offensive, through its agents.
During the attack, these drones were activated and launched at surface-to-surface missile launchers located at the Asfajabaad base near Tehran, which posed a threat to Israeli strategic and civilian targets.
