JERUSALEM – Lieutenant Colonel Sh., a female combat navigator who took part in the recent wave of Israeli Air Force strikes on Iran, shared her feelings from the cockpit: “I felt the weight of responsibility — to eliminate a real and existential threat to the State of Israel. We are doing this for the peace of tomorrow, for our home. This is our mission.”

She described the operation as a historic moment, the result of years of focused training. “When I flew 1,500 kilometers from home for the mission, I knew I was part of something much bigger. I thought about my family and my home.”
Lt. Col. Sh. also emphasized the flawless coordination between all teams involved. “In the moment, everything worked in perfect synchronization — ground and air crews operated as one. Behind every cockpit in the air are hundreds of people on the ground. This is an incredible joint success,” she said.
“This is a complex and powerful operation designed to ensure that our children will have a better and safer future.”

There was an article on VIN several months after the surprise attack of Oct. 7, 2023. It clearly documented how a four female IDF soldiers, who were part of a tank unit, killed over fifty terrorists, who had infiltrated Israel from Gaza. Hence, they saved the lives of many Israeli civilians on that fateful day. Yet, in spite of the documented evidence of their heroic and brave actions, there were a number of reactionaries on this site, who did not have kind remarks for those soldiers. Their despicable remarks, essentially stated that “Jewish women should not be soldiers”. Yet, here is a case of a female Israeli Air Force navigator, who also performed a very important mission, in saving Jewish lives. Somehow, one finds the same underlying current of resentment of that person, who was also performing a very important mitzvah in saving Jews.
The religious guys don’t want to serve so the women are stepping up. The Frum young men want to be financially supported by women and now they have to be protected by the enemies of Israel by women. Is this thinking totally against the thinking of the Bubbas and Zeides or what?!?!
