This is why the Home Front Command repeatedly urges all citizens to take shelter during sirens and avoid the instinct to film incoming rockets. In the moment, it might feel like nothing will happen — but these moments can turn deadly in seconds.

I can’t count how many times I’ve read about people accidentally killing themselves when taking selfies.

the good news is that iran is far away, and the idf can give relatively long warning times, not like the 20 seconds from gaza. but people need to take the warnings seriously. or else.
