A Third Of Iran’s Missile Launchers Destroyed, 4 Senior Intelligence Officials Eliminated

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Despite the tragic consequences of Sunday night’s missile attacks on Israel, it is important to focus on the strategic achievements of the Israeli Air Force (IAF) in preventing a far greater attack. Currently the IAF has total aerial supremacy in Iran and is using it to erode the capability of Iran to strike Israel as well as continuing to target regime leaders.

Overnight, the IAF struck over 100 military targets in Iran. The attacks focused on central Iran — the main area where missile launchers and ballistic missiles remain.

During the strikes, more than 20 missiles that were prepared for launch toward Israel were destroyed. Some of them were identified by aircraft just minutes before launch,  covered only in plastic sheeting.

The strike helped to cut the number of missiles in the barrage toward Israel by half, reducing the total to fewer than 50 missiles.

Through aerial surveillance and precise intelligence from Military Intelligence, launch pads that were either stationed at command centers or en route to fire missiles at Israel were eliminated during the operation.

Since the start of Operation “Am K’Lavi”, over 120 missile launchers have been destroyed — accounting for one-third of Iran’s total missile launchers.

In addition, the IAF confirmed that in a targeted strike carried out Sunday in the Tehran area, four of the most senior officials in the Iranian regime’s intelligence network were killed — including the officer responsible for internal suppression and persecution of regime opponents within Iran itself.

In the precise airstrike, based on intelligence provided by the Military Intelligence Directorate, a building housing top officials of Iran’s security establishment was destroyed. Among those killed:

• Mohammad Kazemi, head of the IRGC’s Intelligence Organization since 2022, responsible for suppressing, tracking, and targeting regime opponents.
• Mohammad Hassan Mahkaki, Kazemi’s deputy and former head of the Strategic Intelligence Department.

Also eliminated:

• Mohsen Bakri, head of the Quds Force Intelligence Division, who was involved in transferring intelligence and support to Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, and Shiite militias in Iraq.
• Abu al-Fadl Nikooyi, Bakri’s deputy, who focused on operational support and surveillance related to Iran’s entrenchment in Syria and arming of Hezbollah in Lebanon.

According to the IDF, these four played central roles in shaping Iran’s intelligence assessments and in planning terror operations against Israel and Western countries.
This strike follows the assassination of another senior official — the head of the Iranian military’s General Staff Intelligence Division — last Friday, and is being described as a serious and significant blow to the heart of the Iranian regime’s intelligence infrastructure.
