JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Despite the ongoing war and the closing of Israel’s airspace to incoming flights, one of the leaders of the “Lev Tahor” cult, Eliezer Rumpler, who is accused of serious offenses involving the abuse of minors, was extradited to Israel yesterday.

The complex operation was conducted through international cooperation between the Israel Police and the authorities in El Salvador, where Rompler was arrested after attempting to flee from Guatemala.
Rompler fled Israel in 2020 after an indictment was filed against him, alleging severe offenses against helpless minors.
The extradition took place following a precedent-setting legal process that was approved by the El Salvadoran court. Upon landing in Israel yesterday, he was brought in for questioning by the Central Unit of the Jerusalem District Police.
The “Lev Tahor” case, which has been under investigation for years, deals with the cult’s activities and severe abuse of helpless minors — who were recently officially recognized as victims of human trafficking.
Rompler was first arrested in Israel in 2020, at which time he was indicted by the Jerusalem District Attorney’s Office. He was later released to house arrest by the court, but soon after escaped the country.

100,000 Israelis at/re waiting to get back to Israel but this creep gets to be extradited to Israel from El Salvador? Send him to Iran!
