WASHINGTON D.C (VINnews)-President Donald Trump announced Monday that Israel and Iran have agreed to halt hostilities, declaring a temporary ceasefire that could mark the end of the most intense regional conflict in over a decade.

“It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE… for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The announcement follows nearly two weeks of escalating violence and high-stakes diplomacy. While the ceasefire is set for 12 hours, Trump’s declaration that the war will be “considered ended” signals his administration’s intent to treat the pause as a formal resolution—at least for now.
Live on Fox News, anchor Bret Baier broke the news as it happened. Senator JD Vance, appearing on the program, praised the development, calling it “an important reset moment” for the entire Middle East. “When we look back, we will see the 12-day war was an important inflection point,” he said.
According to Reuters, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammed bin Al-Thani, secured Iran’s agreement to a U.S. ceasefire proposal during a phone call recently with Tehran.
A spokesperson for the Israeli military declined to comment on Trump’s statement about a cease-fire. -NYT
A senior Iranian official now tells Reuters that there is indeed a ceasefire agreement which has been accepted by Iran.
Hopefully, the Iranians will be too scared to make trouble for the rest of Trump’s presidency. But its not their nature, though. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Democrat politicians everywhere, especially on the federal level, are so disappointed. They were hoping all hell breaks loose so they could rail on Trump and brag to the American people “we told you so”. Haha Low lives!!
To stop now and leave this regime in power is like the allied forces stopping in 1944 and leaving Hitler and the Nazis in power.
