NEW YORK – Billionaire investor Bill Ackman revealed Wednesday that he met on Tuesday with both Mayor Eric Adams and former Governor Andrew Cuomo to discuss the looming mayoral showdown — and emerged convinced that only Adams has a real shot at beating Zohran Mamdani.

In a post shared Wednesday night, Ackman said he spent about an hour with each candidate. He described Adams as energized, sharp, and ready for what he called a “battle” to protect New York City’s future.

“Adams can win the upcoming election and the Governor should step aside to maximize Adams’ probability of success,” Ackman wrote.

While praising Cuomo’s past leadership, Ackman said the former governor appeared “subdued” and lacking the fire needed for the fight ahead. He contrasted that with Adams’ “guns blazing” approach and highlighted his strong record on public safety, economic growth, housing, and quality of life.

Ackman said Mamdani’s left-wing policies would be “catastrophic” for the city and urged unity behind Adams as the only viable candidate to stop him.

He promised to share more soon on how voters can support Adams and “keep NYC from falling into the wrong hands.”

Ackman is correct in this situation. He should get that fake phony fraud incompetent Curtis Sliwa to drop out as well. Sliwa has Z E R O chance of beating the Arab. Like him or not, Adams is thee only one with a legitimate shot of winning.

Nobody wants Cuomo except a couple of higher up Democrats who decided they could try and leverage Mamdani to get the people to take him back. He should have stayed gone all along, and then magically one of the other Democrats would have been considered a serious contender.

All I can say on this is: Psychopath Cuomo must never hold a positionof power again.. EVER!
This Madmami 2bit CheGuevara wannabe I can spot a mile a way does not scare me as much. Adam is the only sad choice.

The only consolation I see is that there are still 4 months before election and anything can happen. However, I wish I were more optimistic. If NY goes, it will rollercoast across the nation.

Correct. Divided votes will hand the election to Mamdani. And Adams has the best chance. Adams is not ideal, but is far better than Mamdani. A vote for anyone else is in effect a vote for Mamdani.

As reported on vin. Adams board of ed not providing services to 6 yeshivas and only providing halal but not kosher food for school.age children over the summer. True he had a chasid deputy (who had resigned) but what has he done for the unconnected yid who keeps getting sanitation tickets and eichenstein had to get a special bill passed in Albany. Time for a.change
