WASHINGTON D.C (VINnews)-Congressman Tim Burchett (R-TN) lit into a CNN anchor during a heated interview this week, delivering a scathing takedown of what he called media bias and a lack of transparency in government spending.

“No ma’am. Listen, if you want to do the editorial, just go ahead — you don’t need me on here!” Burchett snapped, as the host tried to interject.
Burchett, a vocal advocate for government accountability, defended legislation aimed at requiring clear and public cost breakdowns for every congressional bill. But what started as a policy debate quickly escalated when he accused the media — and the CNN host directly — of shielding the public from the truth.
“What do YOU have against knowing how much each bill is spent? Why does the media oppose that? Why do you all on the left always fight every chance at America knowing what’s going on?” Burchett demanded.
“You all are just telling us how bad things are going — and trying to construct, and as you’re doing with me, trying to dictate what I’ve said.”
When pressed on his distrust of official budget numbers, Burchett didn’t hold back, blasting the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) as partisan.
“The reality is, the CBO is a partisan organization. And the reality is, America has a right to know how much we’re spending on every piece of legislation. I cannot BELIEVE you, as a member of the media, would not want open records — and that is exactly what that bill would do.”

What a snarky host. Typical of CNN fake news to hire these dumb broads.
Doesn’t seem heated to me.
Its very intense and high pressure these types of jobs but not very spiritual.
Yeah, like you aren’t being partisan?
Why not also report how she questioned him about his prior support of CBO numbers when it suited his cause? He introduced motions to have the CBO report on legislation read into the Congressional Record just a few years ago!
One of the few ciips I’ve seen of CNN but she did a good job taking him down using his own words against him.
