Tel Aviv (VINnews)— Following the release of a disturbing propaganda video showing a severely emaciated Evyatar David, held hostage in Gaza for over 660 days, his brother Ilay David issued a powerful statement condemning Hamas for what he called “a live hunger experiment.”

“They are on the absolute brink of death,” Ilay said Sunday evening. “Hamas is using Evyatar in one of the most horrific and calculated campaigns of cruelty imaginable—a live hunger experiment.”
He accused the terror group of deliberately starving his brother as a tool of psychological warfare and global propaganda.
“They are starving him deliberately, systematically—using his agonizing suffering as a twisted tool of propaganda,” Ilay said. “This is not just a violation of international law; it’s a brutal, barbaric assault on every shred of basic human decency. It’s an act so vile it scars the very soul of humanity.”
