TEHRAN – Iran’s judiciary announced Saturday it has detained 20 people accused of working for Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency in recent months. Officials warned the suspects will face severe punishment as a warning to others, Reuters reported.

On Wednesday, Iran executed Rouzbeh Vadi, a nuclear scientist convicted of spying for Israel and sharing information about another scientist killed in Israeli airstrikes in June, according to state media cited by Reuters.
