Brooklyn Police Continue Search for Second Suspect After Shooting in Flatbush

    BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Police in Flatbush shot a man carrying a firearm Tuesday evening, taking him into custody while searching for a second suspect who fled the scene.

    The incident occurred near Ocean and Church avenues around 7:30 p.m., following reports of gunfire involving two people. Officers patrolling nearby responded and discharged their weapon, striking a 22-year-old man identified as Edynesson Bauduy. He was transported to Kings County Hospital in critical condition.

    Bauduy has a history of felony convictions. Police recovered a handgun at the scene, and the second suspect remained at large as of Wednesday morning. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
