    KUNAR PROVINCE, Afghanistan (AP) — A 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck eastern Afghanistan late Sunday flatted villages and killed hundreds of people and injured thousands. Rescue crews have struggled in the mountainous and remote Kunar region.
