WASHINGTON D.C (VINnews)— Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-Minn.) net worth has surged to as much as $30 million, according to her latest financial disclosures, marking a dramatic increase just months after the congresswoman denied she was a millionaire.

The financial windfall, first reported Monday by the Washington Free Beacon, is tied to the business ventures of Omar’s husband, Tim Mynett. His holdings include a California winery and a Washington, D.C.-based venture capital firm, both of which saw explosive growth over the past year.
Omar’s disclosure values the winery, eStCru LLC, between $1 million and $5 million. Just one year earlier, it had been reported at only $15,000 to $50,000.
More striking was the rise of Mynett’s venture capital firm, Rose Lake Capital LLC, which jumped from less than $1,000 in assets in 2023 to between $5 million and $25 million by the end of 2024.
Despite the valuation spike, Omar’s disclosure lists no reported income from the firm last year, down from $15,000 to $50,000 in 2023. Rose Lake Capital, according to its website, claims to manage more than $60 billion in assets.
The sharp increase in the couple’s wealth is likely to fuel renewed scrutiny of Omar, who has previously faced questions over her financial transparency and her husband’s consulting work tied to her political campaigns.

Corruption will bring down this country.
I thought she was legally married to her brother.
Forget Ozer Dalim on Simchas Torah, seems like being married to a member of Congress is a foolproof Segula for Ashirus.
I thought Muslims aren’t allowed to own a winery. She’s seriously OTD.
And the fool voters still vote for her.
Trump made 4 billion off of his Bitcoin scheme yesterday.
What a fraud…
There you have the reason she stole the poor mutt from his previous wife.
She is a Muslim. Doesn’t the Koran forbid adultery?
But you & I will have to stand on bread lines . Typical communism , socialism
