JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Hamas said Wednesday it is prepared for a “comprehensive deal” to release the remaining 20 living Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners — a statement swiftly rejected by Israeli leaders.

The terror group’s remarks came after President Donald Trump publicly called for the hostages’ release.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office dismissed the offer as “another attempt by Hamas to spin the situation,” reiterating that Israel’s war in Gaza would not end without the release of all hostages, the disarmament of Hamas, the establishment of a civilian-led government in Gaza, and continued Israeli security control of the territory.
“Hamas continues to deceive and issue empty words, but it will soon understand that it must choose between two options,” Defense Minister Israel Katz said. “Accepting Israel’s conditions to end the war, first and foremost, the release of all hostages and disarmament, or Gaza City will become like Rafah and Beit Hanun. The IDF is fully prepared.”
Israel has long insisted that negotiations cannot move forward while Hamas retains its military capabilities and holds hostages.
Only a fool would trust what Hamas says. Bibi – do what Trump says – wipe out Gaza and do it very quickly
