During the band’s performance at Wembley Stadium, Martin invited two fans onstage who said they were from Israel. The moment was met with boos from the crowd, and Martin responded by telling the audience, “I’m very grateful that you’re here as humans … we are treating you as equal humans on Earth, regardless of where you come from. Although it’s controversial, maybe, I also want to welcome people in the audience from Palestine.”

While the singer’s comments appeared intended as inclusive, critics said the exchange left the Israeli fans singled out and “dehumanized.”

Kelly, speaking on her show alongside conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, accused Martin of appearing uncomfortable simply because the fans were Israeli.

“You can clearly see … he is jarred, as if she said she was from North Korea or someplace,” Kelly said. “It was shameful and disturbing.”

Shapiro added that Martin had no need to “bestow humanity” on concertgoers and should have avoided politicizing the exchange.

Prepostorous monster who looks and sounds more simian than human, likely high on weed, why even bother with his cretinously stupid comment?

I’m guessing that most people on VIN never heard of Coldplay before the incident this summer.
