WASHINGTON D.C (VINnews)— The U.S. military said two active-duty service members were arrested after appearing at a pro-Palestinian demonstration while wearing their uniforms, a violation of military regulations.

Officials said the individuals were taken into custody Friday and face charges under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. They are expected to be discharged and could face jail time.
“Protesting as a private citizen is permitted, but doing so in uniform misleads the public into thinking the military endorses a political stance,” a Pentagon spokesperson said. “That undermines the integrity of the armed forces.”
The Defense Department has repeatedly reminded service members that they are barred from participating in partisan or political demonstrations while in uniform.

The War Department should put them in jail. Retired military may wear the uniform to formal events and events that project honor on the service. This is a discrace they new not to do it…..give them hell
