BROOKLYN – Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) criticized rhetoric from some Democrats and activists that she said fuels antisemitism, telling Jewish leaders Monday in Brooklyn that slogans like “globalize the intifada” and “river to the sea” signal the destruction of Israel and Jews, The Forward reports.

Without naming Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic NYC mayoral frontrunner, she reassured attendees that such language is dangerous. “Having suffered through two intifadas, Israelis know how deadly an intifada is. It’s terrorism. It’s destruction. It’s death,” Gillibrand said.
Mamdani, who has criticized Israeli policy, said he would discourage the slogan after hearing from Jewish leaders, though concerns remain among voters and Democratic colleagues.
Gillibrand also addressed what she sees as a disconnect among some Democrats frustrated with Israel’s government. “Nine out of 10 Democrats are pro-Israel and want peace,” she said, noting that intent often differs from impact, and emphasized the need for U.S. support and military aid to Israel.

Credit where Credit is due. Thank you
Way too many politicians straight up ignore blatant antisemitism that’s only veiled as anti-Zionism by the use of the phrase “anti-Zionism.” It’s exactly like the “I’m not racist, but” that they somehow have no problem seeing through.
What a fake phony fraud. This privileged white Karen stood alongside Cory Booker and demanded from then president Obama to fork over billions of US taxpayers money to the Iranian mullahs.
9 out 10 elected democrats are hamas nazi supporter supporting scum.
This seems to be a code word for those against Israel.
So sad this has to come from the non-Jewish Senator of NY, and not from the coward kapo Senator.
