Hamas Terrorists are winning the PR war, and it is largely the fault of the New York Times.
In the past two months there has been a sea-change in how Jews with Yarmulkas have been treated in public. Much of this is due to some very biased reporting in the New York Times. The suggestion here to sign a petition is based upon a Seforno in Parshas Vayigash.

A Yale University study published in February analyzed 1,561 New York Times articles from October 7, 2023 to June 7, 2024, revealing shocking bias: 91% of articles failed to mention Israeli casualties after October 7, despite dozens of civilians killed. 50% omitted Israeli hostages held by Hamas. 41% ignored Israeli casualties from the initial attack. Meanwhile, The New York Times publishes Palestinian suffering stories on a near-daily basis – accepting Hamas sources without verification.
The petition below suggests tweaks that must be made by the New York Times to their own Ethical Journalism Handbook. Let’s copy the link and try to make it go viral. There is no question that the lives of our brethren are being placed at risk because of the New York Times current policies that do not reflect ethical journalism. Please sign the petition, and spread the link to do so as well.

It’s surprising the good Rabbi thinks the NYT is largely responsible for how visible Jews are being treated.
First the NYT has a very limited reach these days.
But more importantly WHO reads the NYT?
Rarely the ones doing these despicable acts are also readers of the NYT.
Blaming the bias of the NYT has no connection to the reality in the ground.
Sounds like good idea, maybe it will wake them up?
The NY Times is not the only news media in the world. It isn’t even the most read newspaper in the US. It has very little power to control anything.
Its bias has been documented and repeated ad infinitum.
With the new modern media, its influence is minimal.
