JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Col. (res.) Hezi Nehama, a senior IDF reservist officer, was the armed civilian who shot and neutralized the Palestinian terrorist behind Monday’s car-ramming attack at the al-Khader Junction near Bethlehem.

Nehama told Hebrew media that he was passing through the junction when he heard what at first seemed like a car accident. “I heard a car crash into the side of the road, and stopped my vehicle thinking it was an accident. Then people shouted that the assailant had a knife,” he said.
According to Nehama, the terrorist ran toward him with the weapon. He first fired at the man’s legs while shouting at him to stop. “I kept shouting ‘stop!’ and he didn’t stop. So I fired at the center of his body, and he fell,” Nehama said.
The terrorist had earlier rammed his vehicle into Israelis at the junction before being stopped.

He should b releived of his duties, it’s against protocols to fire not to kill, either u use your weapon properly, or don’t draw at all. Firing on legs could cause the bullet to ricochet, and hit innocent bystanders. BTW y would he try to save this beast ? What a moron….
