WASHINGTON D.C (VINnews)-President Donald Trump tore into New York Attorney General Letitia James on Saturday, accusing her of driving businesses out of the state and calling her a “complete and total disaster.”

“She is a complete and total disaster, who tried running against Kathy Hochul for governor and only got 1% of the vote in polls, and quit,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
He continued, “She then went back to her witch hunt against President Donald J. Trump, and others. Until this ‘scum’ is removed from the Attorney General’s office, no company will move to New York, and few companies will be using the New York Stock Exchange or NASDAQ for going public.”
Trump claimed that the newly established Texas Stock Exchange will soon take “hundreds of billions of dollars” in business away from New York.

trump’s tweets are getting a little stale. why should he know or care whether publicly traded companies use the nyse or nasdaq, in a free economy? and why blame letitia james, instead of zohran mamdani, the leading contender in the mayoralty race, who is promising to tax the rich to pay for billions in freebies for those who are “poor enough and non-white enough”.
