CENTRAL GAZA (VINnews)-Hamas attempted to raid an IDF post and kidnap a soldier near the Netzarim Corridor south of Gaza City — but the attack ended in failure.

According to the IDF, at least five Hamas terrorists emerged from a tunnel and tried to storm a Golani Brigade reconnaissance encampment. Israeli troops, with IAF air support, struck and killed three of the terrorists as they advanced on the post.

Two others reportedly fled back into the tunnel. The IDF says no soldiers were injured and the terrorists never breached the perimeter.
The failed attack came as ceasefire negotiations were underway in Egypt. Hamas later claimed its fighters “killed or wounded” several troops and launched RPGs at tanks — assertions the IDF flatly denies.

Savage beasts, whom can’t even be trusted, once they agreed to a cessation of hostilities.
