Regarding the large Succah which was shown in the photo, it was without doubt the nicest Succah that I ever saw. I remember years ago at the Talmud Torah of Flatbush, on Coney Island Avenue, real fruit (not imitation), was suspended in the Succah. When some of the congregants came into the Succah, there were reports of someone actually tearing down the fruit, and eating it, and pocketing some to take home. Incidentally, I have no problem with Mandami coming into the Succah and smoozing with the Satmars (even wearing a Kippah). I don’t know why some people are so upset about his presence. As Shimon Peres once stated “You make peace with your enemies, and not with your friends”.
