NEW YORK – New York Mayor Eric Adams announced Thursday that he will endorse former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the city’s mayoral race, setting aside past tensions to try to slow the momentum of Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani. Adams, who recently ended his own re-election bid, plans to campaign with Cuomo in neighborhoods where he is most popular, urging Black and brown communities to vote.

Adams criticized Mamdani’s policies as extreme, citing proposals such as disbanding the Police Department’s Strategic Response Group and decriminalizing prostitution. Cuomo, running as a third-party candidate, praised Adams and welcomed his support, calling Mamdani an “existential threat” to the city.
The endorsement comes as early voting begins Saturday. Adams and Cuomo share similar moderate, pro-business platforms, and the move could influence key voter blocs, including Black and ultra-Orthodox Jewish communities.

Sliwa has zero chance. Cuomo has little chance. If we Orthodox jews don’t go out in droves voting for Cuomo than we deserve Mamdani. Even though maybe our votes wont sway the elections…still if they see how many votes we can bring out it will help. A vote for Sliwa is a sure vote for Mamdani. Cuomo as governor up to covid had a very close relationship with Orthodox Jews.
Adams like Jews more than some self haters like Shumer, Nadler , AC Sanders etc.
Of course this corrupt pig will endorse another. NYC is screwed.
We’re stuck with having to vote for one Rasha lunatic over another.
he called me a snake oil salesman 2 months ago. i guess he got a nice bribe
How much did he get paid for that endorsement?
