Trump Warns Israel U.S. Support Could Vanish if Annexation Proceeds

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump warned that Israel risks losing all U.S. support if it proceeds with annexation plans or expands military operations in Gaza beyond agreed limits.

In an interview with TIME, Trump said he made clear to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that annexing parts of the West Bank or continuing the Gaza campaign without restraint would jeopardize America’s backing. “It won’t happen,” Trump said. “Israel would lose all of its support from the United States if that happened.”

According to Trump, his warning was part of a broader effort to secure cooperation from Arab nations on a regional ceasefire deal. He said those countries only agreed to the plan after receiving assurances that Israel would not pursue annexation. “I gave my word to the Arab countries,” Trump told TIME, describing the promise as essential to achieving peace in the region.

The statement marks one of Trump’s strongest public admonitions of Israel since returning to office. While reaffirming his commitment to Israel’s security, he emphasized that maintaining international credibility required “balance and discipline” in its actions.

The remarks come as Trump seeks to expand the Abraham Accords and build on the Gaza ceasefire, which he said became possible only after the “complete destruction” of Iran’s nuclear program. Trump said that with Iran weakened and Arab states united, “there’s finally a real chance for peace — but only if Israel acts wisely.”

Analysts say Trump’s comments signal a more conditional approach to U.S.-Israel relations, tying future support to Israel’s adherence to ceasefire terms and restraint in the West Bank. The warning also reflects growing regional pressure on Israel to avoid further escalation as diplomacy gains momentum.

G-D put Trump back in office after he helped Israel and can take him out if he’ll retreat. Don’t mess with the Holy Land.

I don’t believe that Bibi is actually trying to annex anything. Because if he did, he wouldn’t have warned about it, but would have just did it. In fact, it looks like Bibi is trying to sabotage any future annexation efforts by warning and solidifying the opposition now. Same thing with the judicial reform and Gaza: instead of actually acting ruthlessly and decisively, Bibi talks tough and talks for months — thereby warning the opposition and giving the opposition time to organize — then he says he can’t do anything because of the opposition. This is his typical pattern, not a one time event. It is apparent that Bibi does not work for the right wing, despite his tough speeches.

Annex now, believe in Hashem. Do not fear or mind the nations of the world including the former United States of America.
