Cuomo made the announcement during a visit to the Ansarudeen Islamic Center in the Bronx, telling community leaders the school would reduce the need for families to send children abroad to learn Arabic. He emphasized the school would focus on language education and would not promote religious teachings.
Sheikh Ibrahim Niass of the center praised Cuomo’s support, noting his past defense of mosque openings post-9/11 and rejecting claims that Cuomo is Islamophobic. Cuomo’s campaign confirmed charter schools would be a priority, framing them as solutions when traditional public schools fail.
Cuomo, running as an independent, trails front-runner Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic nominee, who opposes lifting the cap on charter schools. The city currently has 286 charter schools serving over 150,000 students, many of which outperform traditional public schools in low-income areas.

politics at its best. when Adams was still in the running he hosted muhammeds bday event with mamdanis supporters laughing at him
Do really believe this will not result in extemist indoctrination? Or on the flip side: Do you really believe the administrators of that school will not discriminate against non-moslem students?
Slime bag
Desperation time
So you can see where it’s going regardless the representative. Demography is Destiny. Add in petrodollars. These north American cities are finished.
How ridiculous. As if Mamdani won’t be doing the exact same thing. He’ll probably buy the buildings for them too……. Right next door to our yeshivas. Why don’t you just offer them the fuse to explosives already.
the askanim endorsed candidate folks
Don’t be surprised if the candidate who is running on a platform of being moslem will likewise double cross his supporters by “reaching out” to the non-moslems
