Feldbaum, a father of five, was a well-known and beloved member of his community, where he worked as a contractor. During the ongoing war, he took part in extensive reserve duty in Gaza, applying his skills to assist in the army’s operations. He is the 59th fallen soldier from the Binyamin Council since the war began.
Friends from the community described Feldbaum as deeply connected to the land of Israel and devoted to its defense. “Efi was very well known and loved throughout the area,” they said. “He worked extensively in the young settlement and fell while acting to defend the land of Israel.”
Binyamin Regional Council head and Yesha Council chairman Israel Gantz paid tribute to Feldbaum, saying, “Efi fought on the front line of the war in Gaza and continued to do so even after the ceasefire declaration, which was repeatedly violated by Hamas terrorists. On behalf of all the residents of Binyamin, I send condolences to his wife Shulamit, his children, and the entire family. Thanks to Efi’s heroism and sacrifice, the people of Israel will prevail. The people of Israel are not afraid of a long road.”
Funeral details will be announced later.
