LONDON — A man in the final stages of converting to Judaism says he was confined on a London bus for nearly an hour after the driver allegedly targeted him with antisemitic remarks and withheld his debit card.

The passenger, identified only as David, was wearing Orthodox-style clothing when he boarded. He says the driver made a derogatory comment, causing him to drop his card into an area inaccessible to passengers. David alleges the driver then refused to return it, citing his Jewish identity, while ignoring his repeated requests. Other riders eventually exited, leaving him alone on the bus.

David said the driver made further hostile statements, including accusing him of being a Mossad agent. The situation was resolved only after David contacted a friend, who called the police.

A Jewish attorney from the local community, who recently experienced antisemitic vandalism at his own home, has offered to help David pursue legal action. The incident has sparked renewed concerns about the safety of visibly Jewish individuals in London amid rising antisemitism in the UK.

If the Jewish people in London had any brains at all, they would pack up and move to Israel (not that the Israeli government is that much better – but still the better of the two evils). Imagine, if all the Jews left London, it would become another Gaza overnight. The only thing that keeps the country semi normal are the Jews – like it or not that’s the truth. That has always been the case with every country in the world.

Shame! Thankful that there was no physical harm. As a non-Jew, David you have my full apology.
