Trump Urges Lakewood’s Orthodox Jews to Turn Out for Ciattarelli in New Jersey Governor’s Race

WASHINGTON – President Donald J. Trump is calling on Orthodox Jewish voters in Lakewood, New Jersey, to turn out “in huge numbers” for Republican gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli ahead of the state’s election on Tuesday.

In a post on his social media platform, Trump credited Orthodox communities across the country for playing a major role in his “historic 2024 presidential campaign,” highlighting Lakewood as one of his strongest bases of support. “Lakewood, New Jersey, was one of our biggest wins anywhere in the country with more than 90% of the vote,” Trump wrote.

The president urged his backers in Lakewood and neighboring towns to rally behind Ciattarelli, who he said “will be a GREAT Governor” and has his “Complete and Total Endorsement.” Trump specifically appealed to yeshiva students who voted for him last year, emphasizing that their turnout could “save New Jersey.”

Trump said Ciattarelli would “cut your taxes and tremendously reduce your out-of-control and ridiculous energy costs,” while warning that his Democratic opponent would “double, triple, and even quadruple” those expenses.

“Your votes in this election will save New Jersey, a state that is near and dear to my heart,” Trump wrote. “Vote for Jack Ciattarelli on Tuesday, November 4th!”
