On November 4, Ramapo voters face a rare moment of truth. With the Town Supervisor’s race currently uncontested, our community is being handed a powerful opportunity — the chance to demand accountability, transparency, and responsible leadership for our town’s future.
For too long, unchecked building and rapid development have stretched Ramapo’s infrastructure to its limits. Roads, utilities, emergency services, and schools have struggled to keep pace, leaving residents frustrated and concerned about the town’s long-term stability and quality of life. Growth is necessary, but growth without planning is a recipe for dysfunction — and we are living with the consequences.
When elected leaders run unopposed, the democratic process suffers. Competition fosters accountability; without it, leadership can become stagnant, insular, and unresponsive to the community. Many residents feel that transparency from Town Hall has been lacking, and that the priorities of everyday families have too often been overlooked.
That is why this year, a write-in campaign for Miriam Rosenberg offers a meaningful alternative. Rosenberg represents a call for independent thinking, for responsible planning, and for a government that listens to its constituents rather than rubber-stamping development interests. Even if you have never written in a candidate before, this is the year to use that power.
On Election Day, you will find a Write-In box at the bottom of the second column on your ballot. Instead of leaving it blank, make your voice heard. Write in *“Miriam Rosenberg”* for Town Supervisor.
This election is about more than one name. It is about sending a message: Ramapo deserves thoughtful leadership, transparent decision-making, and a sustainable vision for the future. Our community’s well-being and integrity are too important to leave to autopilot. Let’s choose engagement over complacency and chart a better path forward for Ramapo.

Go Andrea! We are at or above our limits! The uncontrolled overbuilding is not only unsightly and a waste of our precious time, it’s also a huge danger to our community. Huge traffic jams are causing people to do crazy dangerous things to avoid sitting in the delays caused by the 24 hour a day traffic. Schools and illegal apartments are creeping into neighborhoods that were up until now considered safe from these things. Accidents are now not only daily, but hourly! Hope your work on our behalf helps. Keep it up.
Well said keep these CORRUPT “עסקנים” out of office of our town
