In an interview with National Review, Johnson condemned Fuentes’ rhetoric as “blatantly antisemitic, racist and anti-American,” adding that it was also “anti-Christian.”
“Look, I heard a compilation of some of the worst things that Nick Fuentes has said. It’s absolutely outrageous,” Johnson said. “I think we have to call out antisemitism wherever it is.”
Pressed on whether Carlson’s decision to platform Fuentes jeopardizes his standing in the conservative movement, Johnson said: “Whether it’s Tucker or anybody else, I don’t think we should be giving a platform to that kind of speech.”
Johnson acknowledged Fuentes’ First Amendment protections but insisted: “We shouldn’t ever amplify it.”
The speaker’s remarks come amid growing scrutiny of fringe figures within conservative movement.
