NEW YORK (VINnews) — President Donald Trump blasted New York City Jews who support Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, calling them “stupid” in a fiery Truth Social post Tuesday as polls opened.

“Any Jewish person that votes for Zohran Mamdani, a proven and self professed JEW HATER, is a stupid person!!!” Trump wrote.
The president endorsed independent candidate and former Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Monday, dismissing Republican Curtis Sliwa’s chances. Trump labeled Mamdani a “communist” and vowed to withhold federal funds from New York if the assemblyman wins.
“It can only get worse with a Communist at the helm, and I don’t want to send, as President, good money after bad,” Trump said. “It is my obligation to run the nation, and it is my strong conviction that New York City will be a complete and total economic and social disaster should Mamdani win.”
Trump urged voters to back Cuomo despite personal feelings, saying a vote for Sliwa “is a vote for Mamdani.” He praised Cuomo’s record over Mamdani’s “principles (that) have been tested for over a thousand years, and never once have they been successful.”
Mamdani fired back, mocking Trump’s endorsement on social media. “I know how hard you worked for this,” he posted Monday. The assemblyman has repeatedly tied Cuomo to Trump, telling debate audiences the former governor is “Trump’s pick” who serves billionaires, not city residents.
“Cuomo’s desperate final act is bankrolled by the very billionaires who brought us Donald Trump and the broken status quo,” Mamdani wrote on X Oct. 17. “New Yorkers are ready for a change.”
Polls opened at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. Tuesday. Pre-election surveys showed Mamdani leading the mayoral race.
Trump’s wrong: JINOs aren’t Jewish. At least they don’t self identify as being Jewish, nor do they care about Jewish survival. Call them judenrat if you wish, but don’t call them Jews.

It is not his place to decide what Jews should be doing.
Trump is factually correct for the most part. I think he shouldn’t have said it because it’s not his place to decide who is a Jew and who isn’t. But that is my criticism of the messenger, not the message.

Any Jew even if not religious that is found out to have voted for him, needs to be treated with hostility by the rest of the community and that goes for the spouse as well. No honoring at any Orthodox event, we don’t care how much money or prestige they have. They need to be ostracized.
Trump’s comment is what’s stupid. The type of Jew who is voting for Zona Mamzari or considering voting for Zona Mamzari is the same type of Jew that would consider being called “stupid” by Trump a COMPLIMENT. Such comments just drives more votes to Zona Mamzari; it doesn’t move the needle one bit the other way.
