MIAMI – Former U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz addressed a growing controversy Saturday after Vish Burra, a producer and occasional on-air contributor for The Matt Gaetz Show on One America News Network (OAN), shared an anti-Semitic video depicting Jews as cartoon bugs. The video, posted Friday, targeted conservative donor Susan Lebovitz-Edelman and included threats and inflammatory language. Burra quickly deleted the post.

Gaetz, who has faced intense criticism in recent months after being passed over for a potential appointment as U.S. Attorney General under Donald Trump, and for repeated anti-Israel and inflammatory remarks, issued a statement: “My producer Vish Burra posted something dumb this week. He knew it was dumb and quickly deleted it. I too have posted dumb things on social media without thinking — some I’ve deleted, some I haven’t. Vish will too. I’m not the internet hall monitor of any of my coworkers. I can say on the Matt Gaetz Show we do not believe in applying bigotry to any group of people, no matter where they live or how they worship. We stand against such bigotry every weeknight at 9pm EST on OAN.”

Conservative commentator James Lindsay flagged the post, describing Burra’s depiction of Jews as “vermin” and “cockroaches” targeted in the name of “America First.” Legal experts have noted potential civil and employment law exposure, with OAN employees potentially able to file Title VI or VII claims.

The vile anti-semites are slowly learning that posting their twisted ideology online in the form of memes or cartoons and the deleting it and garnering the attention of the offended party (and sometimes issuing a fake apology or claim of ignorance) is the best way to communicate your underlying intentions and to connect with a growing network of hateful, jealous cohorts. When the far left and the far right both exhibit the same philosophy on a particular subject (namely hatred of Jewish people) it’s only a matter of time before the 2 sides connect. זמן הגיע ללכת my friends. The American Jewish Experience is ending, as the historical cycle could have predicted. Hashem is telling us to GO HOME. And if we don’t go willingly, we will go otherwise.
