WASHINGTON D.C (VINnews) — Longtime Democratic official Rahm Emanuel issued a stark warning to thousands of Jewish communal leaders Sunday night, urging them not to expect 2028 presidential candidates to visit Israel as his former boss, Barack Hussein Obama, did during the 2008 campaign.

Speaking at the Jewish Federations of North America’s General Assembly kickoff in Washington, Emanuel used an ice cream analogy to drive home his point about the crowded Democratic primary field ahead.
“If in 2024 the Democrats didn’t have a choice, in 2028 it’s going to be like Baskin-Robbins. There’s gonna be, like, 31 flavors. Some of us are gonna be chocolate mint. Nobody is going to Jerusalem,” Emanuel said. “Nobody is leaving America to go travel to Jerusalem. That’s the politics. And it’s not just in the Democratic primary.”
Emanuel, who served as Obama’s White House chief of staff and later as U.S. ambassador to Japan, called on attendees to confront shifting political dynamics surrounding Israel and to build a more robust argument for the U.S.-Israel alliance.

Rahm emanuel the.dems will turn there backs on you too
Keep your friends and Hussian Obama out of our holy land.
He didn’t say they won’t go to the Middle East, only not to Israel.
If Dems have turned their backs on Israel, why should we give them any allegiance
Of course they won’t. If the Dems have their way, it’ll then be a place called Palestine which will make Afghanistan look like Club Med.
Finally someone stating the reality. Instead of bashing him we should listen and plan accordingly.
Rahm is wrong. Completely wrong. But it gives this website a good headline.
Rahm Emanuel , you can join Shumer as being a loyal Kapo
Only allegiance is to HaShem he loves every yid. He also loves his other children, but Eretz Yisrael has everything it needs to be self sufficient.
