JERUSALEM — Jonathan Pollard on Thursday slammed the New York Times for misrepresenting his recent meeting with U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, calling the coverage false and misleading.

In a powerful and unapologetic interview with i24NEWS, Pollard said the meeting was entirely personal, meant to thank Huckabee for his support during Pollard’s imprisonment and for his late wife, Esther.
Pollard did not mince words about Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, saying he “despises” them for posing as peace activists while acting solely to enrich themselves. He accused them of advancing personal and foreign agendas—particularly those of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey—while undermining Israel’s war efforts in Gaza. Pollard also criticized President Trump’s 21-point peace plan, arguing it compromises Israel’s independence and national security.
He charged that elements within the U.S. government, including the CIA station at the embassy, exploited his private meeting to discredit Huckabee. Pollard emphasized his grievances are with specific individuals, not the United States.
Earlier Thursday, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said, “We were not aware of the meeting, but we back the ambassador every step of the way for everything he does for the U.S. and Israel.”

it seems mr pollard has been out of circulation for a long time if he thinks that the nyt misrepresenting the truth is somehow newsworthy.
