WASHINGTON D.C (VINnews) — President Trump on Friday declared that approximately 92% of former President Joe Biden’s executive orders and other documents signed via autopen are “hereby terminated and of no further force or effect,” escalating a partisan battle over the legitimacy of Biden’s White House actions.

In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump accused Biden’s aides of illegally operating the autopen — a mechanical device that replicates a signature — without the former president’s direct involvement.f5a7ef “The Radical Left Lunatics circling Biden around the beautiful Resolute Desk in the Oval Office took the Presidency away from him,” Trump wrote, claiming the device was misused to enact policies without proper authorization.
Trump’s announcement comes just two days after a deadly shooting near the White House that left one National Guard member dead and another in critical condition, an incident the president has labeled an “act of terror” linked to lax immigration policies under Biden. The attack, which authorities are investigating as potential international terrorism, has fueled Trump’s aggressive push on border security and deportation efforts.
The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Afghan national Rahmanullah Lakanwal, ambushed two West Virginia National Guard members near a Metro station in downtown Washington on Wednesday afternoon. Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, 20, succumbed to her injuries on Thursday, while Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, 24, remains hospitalized in critical condition.Lakanwal, who entered the U.S. in 2021, was also shot during the confrontation and is in custody.
In a video address from Palm Beach, Florida, where he spent Thanksgiving, Trump described the shooting as a “monstrous, ambush-style attack” and a “crime against humanity,” vowing to “make America totally safe again.”a8e6da He directed the Defense Department to deploy an additional 500 troops to the capital and announced a sweeping review of green cards issued to immigrants from 19 countries, including Afghanistan.”Every single alien who has entered our country from Afghanistan under Biden must be re-examined,” Trump said, calling the nation a “hellhole on earth.”

The president’s immigration rhetoric has intensified since the attack, with Trump posting Thursday night that he would “permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries.” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth echoed the sentiment, stating the assault would “only stiffen our resolve” to secure the nation.

Trump’s autopen declaration builds on a months-long Republican-led investigation into Biden’s cognitive health and use of the device. A House Oversight Committee report released in late October, titled “The Biden Autopen Presidency: Decline, Delusion, and Deception in the White House,” alleged that Biden’s aides concealed his mental decline and authorized executive actions without his knowledge. The report, spearheaded by Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., deemed such actions “null and void” and urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to prosecute involved staffers.
