JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Security camera footage captured the dramatic moment when a terrorist attacked and stabbed two IDF soldiers near the town of Ateret in the Binyamin region early Tuesday morning.

At approximately 7:15 a.m., a civilian called the Binyamin Council’s emergency hotline reporting that he had seen on his surveiilance cameras a suspicious individual walking along Route 465 with a backpack.
The call center passed the report on to the IDF, and in the meantime, the Ateret security control room tracked the suspect using their security cameras.

IDF soldiers were dispatched to the scene and approached him to conduct a security check. During the security check, the terrorist stabbed two soldiers. The soldiers responded with fire and eliminated the terrorist.
Two IDF soldiers were lightly injured and were evacuated to the hospital to receive medical treatment.
In another terror incident which occurred Monday night, a terrorist tried to ram into an IDF checkpoint near Hevron. A female soldier was lightly injured, and the terrorist escaped but was later eliminated after he once again tried to attack soldiers in Hevron.
What’s shocking is that the soldiers didn’t immediately shoot a guy that attacked them with a knife. Undoubtedly out of fear of the suicidal judenrat courts, the poor soldiers unnecessarily endangered their lives by engaging in hand to hand combat with a berserk knife-armed attacker, for what seems as close to a minute, before their self preservation instinct finally kicked in and they used their firearms.
Unlike the movies, in real life there is no safe way to defend against a determined knife attack with martial arts. They should have shot the attacker as soon as they saw him lounging with a knife in his hand.
The most that the evil judenrat courts can do to a soldier is to put him in prison; while a knife attack can actually kill.
Our wonderful soldiers need to stop endangering their precious lives in order to satisfy the perverted judenrat prosecutors and judges.

The terrorist was already down and on the floor away from the soldiers, in a position of surrender. They shot him anyway. And good riddance. The guy demonstrated he was a terrorist intent on murdering soldiers. It’s better that they eliminated a demonstrated threat while it was still “legal” to do so.
