JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Israel is preparing to receive the body of a hostage located earlier Tuesday by Palestinian terror groups in the northern Gaza Strip, the Prime Minister’s Office announced.

Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad stated they would hand over the remains to the International Committee of the Red Cross at 5 p.m. local time.
After the transfer, the body will be taken to the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute in Tel Aviv for identification.
If confirmed to be one of the remaining hostages, only one captive’s remains would still be held in Gaza — either Israeli police Master Sgt. Ran Gvili or Thai national Sudthisak Rinthalak.
