JERUSALEM — National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and lawmakers from his Otzma Yehudit party wore yellow noose-shaped lapel pins to a Knesset committee hearing Monday as legislators opened debate on a bill that would authorize the execution of convicted terrorists.

The discussion marked the start of deliberations on legislation introduced by MK Limor Son Har-Melech before the Knesset’s National Security Committee, chaired by MK Zvika Fogel.
Ben-Gvir said the pins symbolized support for the measure and what he described as the government’s determination to impose the death penalty on terrorists. The pins were colored similarly to those worn for the past two years to show solidarity with hostages held in Gaza.
Ben-Gvir told the committee the government was prepared to consider several methods of execution, including hanging, lethal injection, the electric chair and the guillotine. Responding to reports that physicians would refuse to participate, he claimed that “around 100 doctors” had already contacted him offering to assist.

Israel cannot have a policy to release prisoners without a death penalty
The method of execution must be such that the executed terrorist will not be viewed as a martyr or role model by the hamas youth.
Don’t be fooled by his marshmallow physique. Ben Gvir is a LEGEND who personally drove down south on 10/7 to save civilians (some leftists think that was Yair Golan, lol, like that guy was even in the army)
