The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said the lithium-ion batteries in model BI-B41 can overheat and ignite, creating fire and burn hazards.

INUY received 15 overheating reports, including 11 fires, three minor burn injuries and an estimated $400,000 in property damage.

The recalled black or blue power banks, featuring the INIU logo and a paw-print LED indicator, were sold on Amazon.com between August 2021 and April 2022 for about $18.

Only units with serial numbers 000G21, 000H21, 000I21 and 000L21 are affected.

Consumers should stop using the devices immediately and visit iniushop.com/pages/recall-b41 to check their serial number and request a full refund.

My wife purchased this charger 3 weeks ago and Amazon gave her a very hard time to give a refund. First they said contact the company. she did but the email bounced back. Then they said this item is not returnable. Then they told my wife you missed the window for returning the item. (Even though it was only 3 weeks) My wife was persistent explaining it’s a dangerous item someone has to take responsibility They did finally refund her.
