According to them, young men and women should receive significant emotional, halachic, and practical guidance already in their formative years within religious and educational training frameworks.
The rabbis emphasize that establishing families is a supreme value in the Jewish people, and they call to encourage and empower anyone who can contribute to advancing matchmaking efforts. The letter is directed to heads of yeshivot, seminaries, and pre-military academies, recommending that they introduce content on relationship education and personal guidance at early stages.

The rabbis also propose appointing matchmakers within educational institutions who will devote time and resources to accompany the young men and women. At the same time, they call on graduates of these systems to approach matchmakers or professional counselors for personal guidance in building healthy relationships.
In addition, the rabbis note that matchmakers who successfully help create a match should be given respectable compensation, stressing that this is a profession requiring experience and sensitivity.
In the final part of the letter, the rabbis state that young people should be encouraged to marry as early as possible: “Ideally, one should marry even before combat military service and before beginning academic studies.”
According to them, encouraging early marriage may significantly reduce the scope of late singleness within the Religious Zionist community.

“they call on graduates of these systems to approach matchmakers or professional counselors” . Don’t they believe in letting PARENTS guide their children ???
Each late year or two costs one child, on average.
Chazal said ben shmone esre lechupah, while promoting even earlier in numerous other places. Let’s listen to Chazal.
Its very nice to make such requests and “recommendations”, while directing these young people to “matchmakers or professional counselors for personal guidance”. This is a farce. Marriage is quickly becoming an endangered species. I’m speaking of the frum velt — to say nothing for the world outside of this sphere where marriage is long extinct! People mistake the popular picture of “relationships” for marriage and then wonder why things fall apart. Sha’al avicho va’yogedcho, *zkeinecha* veyomru lach. Rabbis, DO YOUR JOB.
Encouraging marriage before having skills for a demanding job market in Israel will lead to a life of poverty for the young couple and the children that will IYH be born. It is the obligation of parents to educate their children towards Torah and Parnassah. Not every young couple has wealthy parents. Buying a home, even renting an apartment, is expensive. Government support, community support doesn’t cut it.
Well the longer you wait the less likely it happens. Facts are in academics and Army service and who knows when you’ll get around to finding a spouse. Plus you become an old horse that can’t bend. You got to jump in while you’re a young flexible chicken. They’re not saying what we don’t know really
They want haredim to be majority in Israel up from 14 percent
But who will pay for all of this?!
It should be a tax on haredim in galut to remit in Israel!!!
