In a heartfelt post on X late Thursday, Argamani described the tech giant’s extraordinary efforts after she and Or met Huang at Nvidia’s U.S. headquarters — their first encounter with the CEO since Or’s release in October.

“Somewhere in early 2022, Avinatan started his first job with Nvidia, a decision that would later prove to be one of the best he ever made in his life,” Argamani wrote. “Throughout the entire two years that Avinatan was held captive, Nvidia was much more than just a workplace; it was one big family.”
She recounted how employees who had never met Or held signs bearing his photo daily, began every meeting with a mention of him and a call for his return, and left his desk untouched until the day he came home.

Argamani said the initiatives were carried out “in coordination and with direct support” from Huang, who “personally accompanied the family and called repeatedly to ask how they were doing.”
Argamani and Or were both kidnapped from the Supernova music festival near Re’im during Hamas’s October 7, 2023, Terrorist attack on southern Israel. Argamani was rescued by Israeli forces in June 2024; Or was freed in a separate operation in October.
The meeting with Huang marked another chapter in Nvidia’s widely reported support for its Israeli employees and their families affected by the war, including those taken hostage on October 7.
